Kyiv, 27 October: the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine together with Equal Opportunities and Women’s Rights Programme (joint EU, SIDA and UNDP project) conducted an education seminar entitled “State of gender policy implementation in the defense sector: international and Ukrainian experience”. The target group of participants were commander officers responsible for educational work in military units and thus directly responsible for implementing gender equality policy in Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Vinnytsya, 8-9 October: Regional state officials, gender advisors and scientists from all over Ukraine have gathered in Vinnytsya to identify how they can enhance programmes of ensuring equality. It will help to improve the quality of services that they provide to people.
